This time last year, I was working my ass off and frankly, I wasn’t too happy about it. I decided then and there that I wanted to make a change and start to reap the fruits of my labor. I envisioned 2022 to be a year of sharing all of my knowledge. So this is me, sharing all my ins and outs to keep you from making the same mistakes that I made. But most importantly, giving you the chance to pluck some fruits as well.
Your leadership in 2022
That’s right. You’re a leader! Many of my fellow-entrepreneurs refuse to believe they are the boss of their own life, let alone their company.
But as a business owner, whether it’s just you or you and your entire team, you are a leader by default. A leader through innovation, a leader by setting an example and most importantly a leader through preparation. And that’s where I come in.
Preparation is key
Because I know how your brain works. You’re going above and beyond for your customers, but your own business is screaming in the background for a little attention. Hey, no judgment from me. I wás you, remember?
I’m just happy to share the lessons I’ve learned. Because let’s be honest, I’ve made a lot of mistakes and that’s good news. Because that means, you won’t have to!
Where you started
The first lesson I’ve learned is to never forget where you came from. Right, J-lo? Take your sweet time to reminisce about your starting days as a business owner and how it made you feel.
What did you hope would happen in the long run? And which short term wins made it to your list?
Was it everything you hoped It would be? Or did you wake up from that dream fairly quickly?
Either way, you’re not at your starting point anymore, are you? That means you have grown into…dare I say it? A leader!
Where you are going
Yes, my friend! Even if your entrepreneurial journey hasn’t always been a smooth sailing, your growth is what defines you and your business. And I can assure you, there is more to come.

Dream small or go home
Excuse me? But what about dreaming big and going after your lifelong dreams and all that jazz? That’s still the goal, not to worry!
But once you’ve set your goal for 2022, break it up in smaller steps. That way, you’re much more inclined to start working on step 1 (and checking it off, aaaah the satisfaction) because it seems a lot less daunting. Am I right?
